Afador dog breed is Hybrid dog cross between Afghan Hound and Labrador Retriever. Afador is Medium in size. Fur of Afador is long, smooth coats with short hair on the face . Basic origin of Afador is Alaska. Afador is Good With Children and Good With Other Animals and Easiest to train and Smartest Dogs is commonly calm indoors and active outdoors. They are also loyal and loving pets with a strong protective instinct.
Afador is available in red to different shades of beige.

Adult Male of Afador is about 60 to 75 pounds. and adult female of Afador is about 55 to 70 pounds. in Weight.
Height of Afador is commonly 25 - 30 Inches.

Afador is a healthier breed like other hybrid breeds. However Afador has tendency to suffer from many congenital health defects.  

Appearance of Afador

Afador normally has lean body of Afghan hound with sturdy appearance of Labrador Retrievers. The head is usually long and resembles a thicker skull of an Afghan hound. The ears are hanging down the side of the head and long usually. Long, smooth coats with short hair on the face. Afador’s coat comes in a diversity of colors from red to different shades of beige, with a dark mask on the face.

Basically Afador is Companion dog but is also used as Hunting and Herding and Guard dog.

Training of Afador

Afador require training in early age like other hybrid dogs. Afador is easy to train.  It learns basic commands such as sit, stay, come easily. Behavior training is also very important for your Afador.  Behavior training prevents and or corrects bad habits of your puppy or dog. Behavior and basic commands training for your Afador should must on these lines. Do not get impatient. You will probably have to repeat the command many times. Never use negative reinforcement. Do not call your dog to come to you for punishment because this will teach your dog not to come on command. Be sure to keep any frustration out of the tone of your voice. If you feel yourself becoming frustrated, take a break. Your dog can sense this and will start to associate training with your unhappiness. You cannot hide your frustration from a dog. You cannot pretend. Dogs can feel human emotion, so stay relaxed, firm and confident.

Daily exercise for your Afador is important, dogs are living with human since thousands of years, wild dogs have challenges to survive so they work daily to find food, save food and themselves from other animals but companion dogs have nothing to do, they have ready food and couch to sit, which may affect their health, habits and activity.

The Afadors are playful, easy to care and companionable pet. Like both the Afghan Hound and Labrador Retriever, the Afador enjoys children. An Afador would need to be trained to adjust his behavior around children.
